
An Evening at Ralph’s
The Fall 2022 Runway show reflects an anticipated return to the places and people who invigorated us, inspired us, and made us feel alive. These spaces give us all the opportunity to dream once again.
The Concept
Laughter escaping the open door. The warmth of your host’s hand, leading you to a seat among old friends. The quiet fizz of champagne. A moment to gaze out at the glittering New York City skyline and imagine one’s place in it. An Evening With Ralph Lauren in New York awaits.
The Approach
On the tailwinds of a waning global pandemic, Mr. Lauren wanted to reunite with friends and return to the places that inspired him the most. After careful consideration, New York City was chosen as our backdrop — a place of creativity and resilience. My team and I set out to create a narrative and campaign copy that captured the sophistication of his art deco-inspired collections in a warm and inviting setting.
We settled on an Evening with Ralph Lauren in New York – an invitation to come back together in style. The intimate evening, set inside The Museum of Modern Art, promised all the sophistication of a black-tie event paired with the warm afterglow of a quiet dinner party. There, an audience of old and new friends attended the premiere of his Fall/Winter 2022 Collection.
